Have you ever had one of those days where you find your lying on the floor, overcome with sadness, while life drags you around by your foot. And all you can do is to dwell on the mistakes you have made and cry.

Or maybe you have decided that since the world turns its back on you, you turn you going to turn your back on the world.
As adults we feel we have everything figured out. We are masters of our own universe, so often we forget the advice were give to children.

So, often when I make a mistake, and believe me I make a lot. I try to cover it up, hide from it, and pretend that it never happened. But, mistakes should be seen as learning experiences. After all that is what we tell our children, right. You can either run from your mistakes or learn from them. Learn from each mistake and keep moving forward.

Just as we should learn from our mistakes and keep moving forward, we shouldn’t dwell on the past. Good or bad. You can continue to win on your past achievements, and when you are running to your goal, you never look back.

So, you are moving forwarding and not looking back, but you seem to be getting no where. Well, maybe it is time to try something new or attack the problem from a different point of view. Even if that mean standing your head. To often I find myself stuck in a rut and Thinking in a Box, where the answer can never be found. It is those times when I have to remind myself to use my brain and look for a new angle.

As we get older we believe we have life figured out. But the truth we are all children when comes to overwhelming problems. That is why we tell our children stories, to teach and inspire them, and to give them the tools to over come the sadness, to infinity and beyond!
